MsMiyavi is an artist I’ve admired literally for years now. It began with her videos of her drawing Miyavi in timelapse:

and they’re actually what got me into Miyavi! Seeing her draw, I came to wonder, who is this Miyavi guy, and why does she like him so much? I let it go for a while, until later along, I saw some of her digital paintings of Miyavi:

and fell in love with his music! Now, I like to say that I’m a really big fan of Miyavi, thanks to her! I’m so glad that I could see her improve in her art, and grow to become an amazing artist with almost 2,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 73,000 pageviews on deviantArt! MsMiyavi also draws kpop artists, such as the members of BIGBANG, Super Junior, Lee Jun Ki, Yunho and JJ from TVXQ, and many, many more!

I could go on for hours and hours, just talking about how amazing she is as an artist, but I think for the sake of the size of the post, I should end it here. MsMiyavi is one of my most favorite artists ever, and I’m so happy that I am able to watch her grow and improve as an artist(but really, I’m not sure if there’s any need for improvement!). It’s been great, and I hope to continue following along, for years to come.

So! The vid is pretty great:

The makeup is overdone, and the dance moves are really bad, but the song is catchy and I’ll probably put it on my ipod!

I really like the song. It’s pretty, and it’s definitely gonna be stuck in my head for a while… I like the little parts where they have one person sing, and then everyone echoes. They’re really good at doing that.

So, the dance. I didn’t want to have to say it, but… I hate it. A lot. I really don’t like the moves. The boys are all so awkward and jerky… you can tell they probably didn’t want to do it either .__.; They do this weird running man thing, and the whole time, Junsu has this weird stripe of leather across his face…Khun’s collar is smacking him in the face…and it’s all weird! LOL but it’s pretty, in a way.

It’s kinda like KAT-TUN… There’re five different set changes and twenty-five costume changes, but it makes it SO MUCH BETTER. and sparkly… and pretty…

The rap is nice, especially Khun’s bit, and I love the idea of having the thumbs up sign when they sing “I’ll be back”, cause it’s like… reassuring… or whatever. XD

The camera angles are like, PERFECT. I really like how they closeup on Chan’s parts, and it’s really clear! There’re parts where you notice something, and then you have to rewind just to make sure you saw it right. I’m pretty sure I saw Khun pulling up his TIGHT ASS PANTS, but I can’t be 100%.

And the end of the MV is like the norm, they do some awesome tricks, Taec twirls someone endlessly around his abs sweetness body(I wanna do that… with my tongue :3), and it ends with a flip.

So basically, listen to the song, it’s awesome. If you for one like the dance, please don’t freak out about my opinion, kay? I just don’t like it much.

My mom suddenly wants to go on a 21-day trip from Indiana(where we are) to Seattle to Oregon, back to Washington, and back home.

IN THREE DAYS. No, I won’t be gone for three days, we’re leaving in three days.

WHAT THE HELL? So it’s been pretty hectic lately, considering the fact that we just got home from a 5-day trip to Canada. Which sucked, by the way. It was all business and no sightseeing. Oh wait, I saw the Mexican restaurant we went to. And a bunch of warehouses full of books. So, yeah.

I’ve been pretty distracted for a while, so I haven’t been (re)watching the dorama I said I would be reviewing. I’ve kinda been wondering if I should just do music/pv reviews. I decided that I would do that, unless there is a show that I’ve downloaded.

WHICH THERE IS(!!!).

It’s called Dare yori mo Mama wo Aisu. Which roughly translates to Love no-one more than Mama. For short it’s Dare Mama. Translates to Who Mama.

Korean Group SHINee realeases new song/PV, Lucifer. It’s AWESOME. I will definitely be reviewing it. Very sad news about Key will be released along with review.

…VERY SAD.

Kanjani8 is up to a bunch of stuff. They came out with a NEW SINGLE! It’s called Wonderful World, and as I’m told, they’ve had awesome sales! The first day, they had 101,088 copies sold. In the whole week, there were 245,000 copies gone. So, the first day was INSANE, and I’m guessing it kind of slowed down as the week went by, but an AWESOME feat nonetheless. Also, their new single, coming out this August is (as I’m told) called LIFE ~Me no Mae no Mukou he~ or LIFE　～目の前の向こうへ～ Should be awesome. In the Wonderful World single, there are 4 PVs out. 浮世踊リビート or Ukiyo, Fusei Odori Biito. Also there is Maru’s PV, Kick, Ryo-chan’s PV, Monologue, and Baru’s PV, Revolver. I’m told they’re all awesome, but I haven’t seen them. I’m definitely reviewing them, so look forward to it.

New dorama! Unfortunately, I won’t be reviewing them, but you can still find out when new dorama come out from me. So, newest dorama, that I’ve recently found interesting are as follows:

• Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo: Kano Haruko (Naka Riisa) is a charismatic shop assistant who has such excellent fashion sense that she has been featured in fashion magazines. However, she is unable to give up her dream of being a high school teacher. Haruko is asked by her former teacher to teach Japanese to foreigners for three months on the understanding that he would introduce her for the high school’s Japanese language teaching position. And so, she becomes a trainee teacher at a Japanese language school where she coaches nine foreign students with strong personalities, including an Italian anime enthusiast and a Swede who is in love with ninjas, according to her own convictions, while setting her sights on becoming a high school teacher.

• HAMMER SESSION!: A genius con artist, Otowa No. 4(Hayami Mokomichi), is a “chivalrous thief” who uses his exceptional and handsome looks as a weapon to rip off money from villains around the world. Otowa No. 4 is finally arrested, but he succeeds in escaping with Azabu No. 10 while being transported under police escort. The two men, who happened to take refuge in a grove of trees at a high school, Hikari Gakuen, strike a deal with its principal, Mizuki Kenichi, and end up working at the school. Otowa No. 4 becomes Hachisuka Goro, a new teacher who graduated from Tokyo University, and makes full use of his swindling techniques to conduct “hammer sessions” for problem students. Hachisuka immediately focuses on a student called Shiba whose assault on a homeless man was distributed over the internet.

• Joker: Yuruzarezu Sousakan: Mild-mannered detective Kazuyoshi Date (Masato Sakai) is known around the Kanagawa Prefecture Police Force as “Buddha” – due to his gentle nature. But at night, Kazuyoshi Date transforms himself into a vicious punisher unleashing his wrath upon criminals.(Basically, if you like DEXTER, you LOVE this. Also has Nishikido Ryo in it.)

• Unubore Keiji: A 30-year-old single detective (Nagase Tomoya), who is under the illusion that he is popular with females is called “Unubore” by friends. He is an ultra romantic and susceptible to conceitedness. He has such a strong desire to marry to the extent that he has bought an apartment for his newlywed life. He falls in love with female criminals at first sight each time. While the sheer desire to meet wraps around him, he will get proof that the female is the culprit. And so, he will thrust both the arrest warrant and marriage papers at her, proposing with the words, “If you marry me, I won’t arrest you.” If that still does not work, he will hold out an engagement ring and his handcuffs. In the end, the criminal will choose to be arrested(Whichi is hilarious because he’s NAGASE TOMOYA) and his heart will be broken. He will cry as he puts the handcuffs on her.(Also contains sex god Kaname Jun.)

• Natsu no Kai wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku: MatsuJun will play Taiga, a not-so-popular second-generation actor. His father was a very popular actor in his time. But Taiga, only get to appear in variety shows, most of the time. He’s a tsundere type of guy, which means, being on the surface sharp and sarcastic (tsuntsun) but underneath lovestruck and fawning (deredere); characteristic of a gap between acted out actions and feelings in mind; normally being sharp but at some prompt suddenly becoming lovestruck; hot-cold personality type. One day when his friend bring him out for a skydiving, a big wind dragged him further apart from the dropping point and he got stuck on the trees. That’s when a beautiful woman, Shiori (Takeuchi Yuko), came to help him. Shiori is a very cheerful woman who laughs away all problems/worries she has, exactly the opposite with Taiga. Shiori is the kind of person who never worry about details.

• Moyashimon: “Moyashimon” follows Tadayasu Sawaki (Yuichi Nakamura(aka awkward cuteness that is a mix between Ikuta Toma and Uchi Hiroki), in his freshman year at an agricultural university. Tadayasu Sawaki possesses the unique ability to see and communicate with micro-organisms and bacteria …(aka IT’S THE CUTEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE PLEASE WATCH IT!!!(also contains Kato Natsuki in leather boots and short-shorts with a horrible temper and… athlete’s foot.))

• and most likely what I’ll be watching for the rest of my life, ARASHI NI SHIYAGARE: From 10pm on Saturday’s, Japan’s highly popular band Arashi will be challenged with a completely new style of program. What the five band members face on this new program is a “lack of common-sense, absolutely unplanned” form of variety entertainment. The five members– without being informed of who the guest is or what they’ll be doing with said guest– will have to record the program using their best improvisation skills.

So, yes: there you have it. The dorama that I will be watching for EVERRRRRR I’m telling you, go to dramacrazy, it’s in the sidebar, and watch whatever catches your eye.

AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN~

So it starts out, Wooyoung is either crying or sleeping in his car. Or just angsting. There’s a LOT of angsting.

The music starts, and the pop-locking begins. SQUEE!!

OK, so it’s sad, angsty dancing, and looks pretty dumb, but it’s still awesome.

And into the picture comes 2PM’s girlfriend. She obviously isn’t grateful that she’s dating 7 hot guys with sexy abs. EVEN WOOYOUNG HAS ABS WTF

Of course, the only way to soothe a broken heart is LINEDANCING! Yes, every Wednesday, I get together with my fellow fangirls and we cry about how we’ll never get a guy as awesome as Nichkhun, and then we do the Hoedown Throwdown. DO THE EGYPTIAN~ OH YEAH~

Of course, when Wooyoung hops out of the car, I expect to see Rain Junho. The PV switches the cut from Wooyoung hopping out to mini-Rain slamming the door.

My normal computer has a virus right now, so I’m using my mom’s laptop. She has two laptops and a tv computer, and when my only source of writing is gone, she’s not willing to give up one of her THREE sources.

So, the only guy I’ve ever really liked in my whole life, decided that he was going to ignore me after I had finally gotten over him. And then out of nowhere, he pokes me in the shoulder at lunch and decides a little wave is going to make it all better.

I mowed the lawn for the first time in half a year, which sucked because the grass was like 7″ long and ASDFGHJK IT SUCKED. Right now I’m watching some cooking movie about some chick who idolizes Julia Child, and she’s so consistent in doing this project, that it made me want to do something, but I CANT DO WHAT I WANNA DO BECAUSE MY COMP HAS A VIRUS AND NOOOO, I CANT DO SHIT ON MY MOM’S LAPTOP, GOD FORBID.

The Quiz Show. It’s a dark and twisted show where contestants come on and their pasts are revealed, giving away the horrible things they’ve done in their lives. Be it plagiarism, kidnapping, or even murder. The host of this show, MC Kamiyama, who has no memories of his past, seemingly plays the role of God, choosing who gets redemption and who gets damnation. Literally who is saved, and who is left to rot. Well, most everybody is left to rot, but he ends the show with a good lecture, and then a, “Just kidding!”, and walks off stage.

That’s what the viewers think. In reality, the director, Honma Toshio plays the role of God, but more of a devil. It seems, in the beginning that there is no God, no Hero. Honma is constantly laughing at the contestants’ pain, always relishing in his power, in the crying(and often screaming) faces of the poor people who naively accept the offers to go on the show, thinking that there’s no harm done, thinking, “My dream will come true.”.

Now, as the show goes on, Kamiyama regains his memories, little by little, and, as he regains his memories, more and more good happens, and eventually, he becomes the angel that can overcome God. He learns more and more of the truth, and more and more, he rebels against Honma. Until, one day, Honma snaps. Honma decides, he needs to tell Kamiyama the truth. Or what he thinks is the truth. The Quiz Show is a drama that is dark, and right until the last moment, it seems as if there will be no happy ending.

I need no conclusion, as, I can say full-heartedly, The Quiz Show is a moving drama that really teaches you about life. With every single episode, someone has the darkest moments of their past shown, and yet, it seems as if they’re saved in the end, as if an angel has come down and forced them to relive the sins they have committed, so they can finally get over them.

So, the episodes start out silly(excluding episode 2 with Gackt, that psycho), but then someone comes in and says, “OMG Sensei there’s been a murder.”/”OMG Tanbara-san there’s been a murder.”. Then somehow, Tsukumo hears about it and he’s all like, “Hey, I’m gonna intrude on your little ‘investigation’ and solve the crime, but you can take credit for it. So, uh, take me to the crime scene.”. And, of course, he gets it all right, and yay, happy ending!

…until around episode 6. That’s when the twisted shit starts happening, and, wow. I tried to predict, I tried to find some way to understand what was going to happen in the end, but, damn! I don’t understand how Tsukumo solves this stuff until the end. The writers come up with the most unique situations, that, until the end, I don’t understand half of what is already known by Tsukumo! This drama, from about episode six and on, is so twistedly inunderstandable, I can’t even find a word that will be the correct adjective other than, I don’t know, awesomazinglygenius(awesome-amazingly-genius)! This drama has made me want to get into neuroscience, and I hope it will make you want to do something amazing, like solve a crime.

CONCLUSION: DEFINITELY. WORTH. WATCHING. Go to DramaCrazy.net, they’ve got all the episodes subbed, and I have the link in my sidebar.
